Religious People (Thought of the day)

I stopped having faith in people a long time ago....ESPECIALLY those who consider themselves "people of faith"(most conservatives) Unfortunately You cant expect a logical diplomatic debate from those type of people because they base their arguments and decisions on what a bronze age story book says is best for man, as opposed to using their brains and common sense.

BOWLING

So over the christmas break I played a lot of Wii Bowling with my friends. While we were wii bowling, I had an amazing idea..I should start BOWLING in real life!!


I've bowled a handful of times in my life but never as an adult, It seems like it might be a fun thing to do once a month. I like a little friendly competition from time to time, so bowling seems like the perfect outlet.

The next step is to find a cool bowling alley in new york city, any suggestions are welcome! Also if anyone is a bowler and can offer any advice that I may need to know, that would be greatly appreciated as well

This is a segment dedicated to showing some love to talented artist,bands and musicians who tend to be overlooked by the general public.

This week's spotlight belongs to Canada's K-os. This guy doesn't really fit in any box, he combines old school hip hop,rock,reggae,disco, and soul effortlessly. He also writes and produces pretty much all of the music.

IF I HAD TO compare him to anyone I would say he is like a mix between Andre 3000, Will.I.Am, and Q tip, but he really can't be compared to anyone.

He has so many INCREDIBLE songs so it's hard to decide which one to post here, but I decided on Sunday Morning because it's an upbeat track that captures the essence of K-Os. In March of 2009, K-Os is scheduled to drop his newest album entitled "Yes!", so now is a great time to get on board!..Enjoy..
